Frank Favretto

Managing Director

Frank is a former chartered accountant with decades of experience in investment banking, including 7 years as a director of Bankers Trust Australia and an Executive Vice President of its equity markets business. 

 

He has founded, funded, and managed a number of successful start-up/early-stage companies. More recently he was a co-founder and managing director of H2O Water Exchange, which was acquired in 2019 by its JV Partner Xpansiv Limited, delivering many multiple of investment cost returns to shareholders. 

Frank is a co-founder, director, and investor in Flinders Peak Water, the FoodSecure Melbourne and VineSecure South Australia project company; and is a co-founder and director of OmeEco.

Simon Claringbold

Simon is an accomplished global business leader with over 20 years’ experience in various high-profile roles across multiple industries, within both established blue-chip organisations and dynamic start-ups. With a proven track record in strategic visioning, fundraising, growth, market share acquisition, and driving financial performance, particularly within the realm of technology solutions.

Most recently, Simon was the Founder & CEO at NaviX Solutions Pte Ltd (by Schneider Electric), a successful corporate venture focused on pioneering an innovative 'As-a-Service' business model that aligns seamlessly with a corporation’s sustainability objectives and their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals

Brett Daley

Brett is a finance executive with many years’ CFO experience spending 20 years with Kerry Packer’s organisations including CFO of the Nine Network. He was instrumental in a number of key corporate initiatives including leading Commercial Due Diligence on the acquisitions of Foxtel and Crown Casino, and leading several capital raising initiatives.

Mr Daley was also a co-founder and Director of H2O Exchange Limited along with Mr Favretto.

Simon Fjell

Consulting Partner

Simon is a sustainability professional with over 40 years’ sustainability experience. He has a long involvement in the development of carbon credits. He developed the Carbon Roadmap for Cape York Indigenous People and assisted them with establishing carbon credit land management opportunities using Traditional Knowledge to create jobs that replace welfare with ‘jobs on country’. He also completed a Carbon Roadmap for Graincorp, a major Australian grain export company. He also provided carbon credit feasibility for a biofuel project in Papua New Guinea and advice to a green hydrogen project in the Hunter Valley. 


More recently he has focussed on ömë which is well underway establishing an Improved Cook Stove (ICS) in the Philippines using carbon credit finance to solve negative health effects, deforestation and climate change.
